Now a successful medical doctor in his late twenties, Ibukun, accompanied by the woman of his dreams, is back at Ile-Ologo castle, where he lived the first fourteen years of his life, in an attempt to retrace his family. Instead, he is confronted by ghosts from his past; the supposed death of his father by his hands, and his life as “smallie” the kid robber.
This suspense-filled novella is a moving love story. It is about family and relationships while also making a strong case for juvenile delinquency and the role of society in shaping the future of the next generation.
